{"id":263,"date":"2004-07-04T21:31:47","date_gmt":"2004-07-04T12:31:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lotusball.com\/?p=263"},"modified":"2009-02-01T21:33:07","modified_gmt":"2009-02-01T12:33:07","slug":"guilt-ridden","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lotusball.com\/?p=263","title":{"rendered":"Guilt-ridden"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maybe it was because I was up early.<br \/>\nMaybe it was because I sweated profusely (it was another scorcher in Osaka).<br \/>\nMaybe it was because I had to stop at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.graf-d3.com\/gm\/\" target=\"_blank\">gm<\/a> on my way home to have a few beers.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know what the reason was, but I had to eat something salty. French-fried potatoes and a hamburger seemed as though they were just the ticket. So I stopped off at the world&#8217;s most ubiquitous fast food chain and ordered me some food. The last time I did that I felt sick after after I had finished (admittedly, I do tend to go a bit crazy and over-order) and I think I said something like &#8220;never again&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, today was a repeat of the last time. I came home with my plastic bag full of lard and soda, ate while watching Ferris Bueller&#8217;s Day Off and then the guilt hit me. I think it hit me right about the same time as the nausea. Maybe they time that deliberately.<\/p>\n<p>A few hours have passed, but I can still taste it. Still feel it. Only just, but it is still there.<\/p>\n<p>Never again.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Maybe it was because I was up early.
